How to Download, Install, and Uninstall TimeBolt
TimeBolt is a desktop app for Mac and Windows. Everything below — free downloads, paid downloads, and reinstalls — happens at one page: timebolt.io/access (opens in a new tab).
Download and install
Free version
Download from timebolt.io/access (opens in a new tab) and start using it. Exports include a watermark until you add a license key.
Full version
Same download — the free and paid app are the same file. Open TimeBolt, click "I have a license key!", and enter your purchase email and license key. The watermark disappears.
Don't have a key yet? Get one at timebolt.io/access (opens in a new tab).
Note: TimeBolt updates automatically. New versions install themselves in the background.
Uninstall (and Re-install)
A clean reinstall fixes most weird behavior — Punch values not defaulting, UMCheck hanging, license errors that won't clear. Do all four steps. Skipping the folder deletion is the #1 reason a reinstall doesn't fix anything.
- Uninstall TimeBolt.
- Mac: Open Finder → Applications → drag TimeBolt to the Trash.
- Windows: Settings → Apps → Installed apps → find TimeBolt → Uninstall.
- Delete these two folders from your Documents folder:
TimeBoltDataTimeBoltScratchPath
- Empty the Trash / Recycle Bin.
- Restart your computer.
Re-install
Download the latest version from timebolt.io/access (opens in a new tab) and run it. Your license key works on the new install — re-enter your purchase email and key when prompted.
